Our Team

Rosemary Caruso

Director

Rosemary began her legal career in 2001 at a small firm, where she gained broad experience across areas such as wills and estates, family law, commercial law, and tax. Over time, she has developed a strong focus on wills and estates, which is now her area of specialisation. She provides clear, practical advice on estate planning matters, including simple and complex wills, enduring powers of attorney, and advance care directives.

When disputes arise, Rosemary is well-equipped to assist—whether it's challenging a will, defending a claim, or initiating proceedings. Rosemary is deeply committed to making the estate administration process as straightforward as possible, regularly helping clients obtain grants of probate and letters of administration as well as managing the administration of estates.

Rosemary is a respected voice in her field, serving as a long-standing member of both the Law Society of South Australia's Succession and Elder Law Committee and the SA Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Her expertise has been consistently recognised in Doyle’s Guide over several years.

With academic qualifications in both engineering and law, Rosemary brings a uniquely analytical approach to problem-solving—allowing her to find innovative, tailored solutions for her clients. She also understands the deeply personal nature of wills and estates, and is known for her empathetic, timely, and practical advice.

A proud northern suburbs local, Rosemary has built her career in the Salisbury area and now continues to support clients from our Modbury and Adelaide offices.

With more than a decade of experience, Rosemary’s arrival at Varga Lawyers enhances our commitment to delivering trusted, expert advice.

Loves

Outside of her legal work, Rosemary is a busy mum to two teenagers and enjoys family life with her husband on their 21-acre property in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. Despite her full schedule, she still manages to fit in early morning F45 training sessions and values the time spent unwinding with her family in the great outdoors.
