Jake Woolford
Senior Associate
Jake is a Senior Associate at Varga Lawyers and practises in deceased estate litigation in the Supreme Court of South Australia.
Jake has extensive experience in inheritance claims and Will disputes, disputes between executors, and trust and property disputes. His broader legal experience includes family law matters, property conveyancing, personal injury and public liability claims, and administrative law.
Known for his down-to-earth and approachable manner, Jake is committed to providing practical advice and maintaining clear and regular communication with his clients. He understands that legal matters can be both complex and emotionally challenging and takes the time to explain each stage of the process so his clients feel informed, supported and confident in the path forward.
Throughout his career, Jake has represented clients in a wide range of courts, tribunals and other forums. He has appeared as both a solicitor and counsel in the Supreme, District, Magistrates and Youth Courts of South Australia, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT).
Jake has also represented clients in matters before the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) and professional disciplinary bodies in South Australia and interstate, including the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
Jake’s broad litigation background and practical approach enable him to identify the issues that matter, develop effective strategies and provide strong representation tailored to each client’s circumstances.
